Strawberry tea is a bright red, sweet, and flavorful drink with a great aroma. Its aroma is so inviting and satisfying that it can help relieve stress and lighten up your murky mood instantly.
Three months back, I was gifted a pack of tea I hadn’t seen before. Yeah, a strawberry tea flavored with black tea.
I was excited to try this tea ( I’m always excited to try out new things) but first, I carried out some research, consulted the right people, and yeah I incorporated it into my daily routine. At first, I took a break from green tea and coffee ( If you’ve been following my post, you’d discover I’m a coffee advocate).
Furthermore, I tried out this new tea with hot water and also tried out the strawberry milk tea. I must confess, so many beautiful drinks are out there!
The strawberry milk tea was made from fresh strawberries, milk, and a green tea bag, while the strawberry tea was already processed and packed ( remember It was a gift).
From all gatherings which I would share later in this post, it has been proven that strawberry tea is not only a flavored tea but a medicinal and beneficial tea to the total well-being of the body.

How to Prepare a Strawberry Milk Tea
Take your strawberries out of their punnet, use a sharp knife to remove the stem and wash them under cold running water.
Slice the strawberries in half, put them in a pot.
Once it boils, our a little amount of water on your strawberries and sugar and leave the rest to cool down. Bring them very gently to a boil, mixing them every now and then with a wooden spoon. Once the strawberries are cooked, pass them through a sieve and collect the syrup in a tall blender.
Let it cool down and, in the meanwhile, move your attention to your boba pearls.
Using a small pot, cook the boba pearls according to instructions on the package. Usually, you need to cook them in water for about 10-20 minutes, or until they gain their typical chewy texture. Once they are ready, pass them quickly under cold water and set them aside. Go back to your blender and add milk to the strawberry syrup. Blitz to mix, then gently add water from the kettle and blitz again: add as much water as you need to get your favorite drink consistency.
